Ang KANTA (The Song) Ilonggo short film teaser

Scheduled for a free screening on February 9, 4;30pm at Cinemateque Iloilo, Daniel Zedane's short film "Ang KANTA" (The Song) written and directed Ronelo Sanchez Ladiao with cinematography by Noel de Leon was one of the entries at the 2nd Ilonggo Short Film Festival Short Film Contest organized by the Film Development Council of the Philippines.

Two Ilonggo short films "Ang Kanta" (The Song) by Ronelo Ladiao and "Kapawa: Mystery of Light" by Noel de Leon together with other Ilonggo Short Film Contest 2013 entries by the Film Development Council of the Philippines will have a FREE SCREENING at Cinematheque Iloilo on February 9, 1:30pm/4:30pm. 
"Ang Kanta" (The Song) is the debut short film role of rising Ilonggo acoustic artist Daniel Zedane Flaviano whose now getting popular with his first Tagalog single "Seryoso" playing exclusively at Campus Radio 93.5 with an official music video coming soon. The short film also stars young local actress Erma Mae Dianon as Daniel's love interest and a special participation by Liezel Rose Demagajis from the Sineng Pambansa 2012 movie "Gugma sa Panahon sang Bakunawa." "Ang Kanta" is a story of a lonely teenager named "Nonoy," a struggling young musician looking for answers in his life. The song he composed will lead him to find the things he's looking for--true love and his mother.

Post-Dinagyang Acoustic Mall Show

Ilonggo acoustic artist Daniel Zedane Flaviano is scheduled for a solo acoustic mall show at Gaisano City Iloilo on February 3, Sunday at 4:30 in the afternoon. Daniel will perform his favorite English cover songs and the live performance of his first original Tagalog single "Seryoso" now playing regularly at Campus Radio 93.5. He is excited to perform with his friends, and of course, new-found Ilonggo teenage fans. His music video for his song "Seryoso" will premiere this week in his official youtube channel. Daniel invades My Phone Dinagyang Party

Daniel Zedane Flaviano, a rising Ilonggo acoustic artist recently invade the Dinagyang Festival event of  My Phone My Party along Plazoleta Gay in Iloilo City last January 25 and 27, 2013. My Phone partnered with Panay News, the most popular newspaper in the region to organize a spectacular show featuring Manila pop artists, musical bands and of course, local artist like Daniel Zedane. Daniel recently launched his first Tagalog single "Seryoso" at Campus Radio 93.5 which is playing exclusively every day through the program "Wanted Sweetheart." Ilonggo Acoustic Artist, Daniel Zedane Flaviano will be part of the Ilonggo Music Artists mini-concert on January 25, 2013, 5-7pm at Iloilo Provincial Capitol Grounds featuring his first single "SERYOSO" now playing exclusively at Campus Radio 93.5 and the live performance of his Ilonggo song "Ginadamgo," the theme song of his Ilonggo Short Flm Festival 2013 entry "Ang Kanta."Together with other guest Ilonggo rappers and hip hop artists, they will give the crowd the best of Ilonggo music during the Dinagyang Festival week.

Rising Ilonggo acoustic artist, Daniel Zedane plays the lead role in this sentimental drama about life, reality and the search for true love. The short film is an entry to the Ilonggo Short Film Festival on January 24-25 organized by the Film Development Council of the Philippines and Cinemateque Iloilo.

First 2013 Pop Show

Daniel Zedane is one of the main performers to join the first live mini-concert of RSLPhoenix Music artists this 2013 as a pre-Dinagyang Festival show at Gaisano City on January 24, 4:30pm. Daniel will perform with other Ilonggo artists like Manila-based RnB artist Reyn Callao, Ilongga pop divas Sheila Barrios and Cindy Bernardo. Plus, more artists will be announced to join the show in the coming days. Daniel will surely perform his first Tagalog single "Seryoso" with an upcoming music video launching on the 25th in his youtube channel. He will also perform English cover songs live with acoustic guitar.

Aside from his thriving career in the recording music scene in Iloilo, Ilonggo acoustic artist, Daniel Zedane who recently released his first Tagalog single “Seryoso,” has secured a regular weekly gig at Fiesta restaurant at Paseo de Iloilo in Robinson’s Place. Daniel had his debut gig last January 13, 2013. He is scheduled to perform every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 6-9PM. Customers can request their favourite songs and he will gladly perform it. Fiesta is now popularizing acoustic music by featuring different acoustic artists in Iloilo every week and they will also launch an acoustic singing contest entitled “Iloilo’s Sessionistas” very soon.

Ilonggo acoustic artist Daniel Zedane Flaviano performed his first Tagalog single “Seryoso” during the weekly elimination of Dinagyang Costume Contest and Fashion Show at Gaisano City Capital last January 13, 2013. The show started at 4PM where kids and teens walk the runway wearing Dinagyang Festival-inspired costumes and attires. Daniel also performed an acoustic cover version of Maroon 5’s hit song “Payphone.”

First Live TV Performance

The newest Ilonggo artist of RSLPhoenix Music, Daniel Zedane Flaviano had his first live TV performance in GMA-Iloilo morning magazine show “Arangkada” last January 11, 2013. The upcoming Ilonggo artist who will soon be known for his acoustic style of music performed an OPM cover song “Prinsesa,” his upcoming Ilonggo song entitled “Ginadamgo” and his first original Tagalog single “Seryoso.” Daniel also shared his story, his love for music and his dreams someday as an artist. His advice for his fellow young aspiring music artists is to be “humble, keep your feet your on the ground and don’t stop practicing until you improve your craft in music.” Daniel is just 18 years old but his strong husky rock-tinged voice and love for music inspires him to pursue his dreams.

SERYOSO Music Video Shoot

Daniel Zedane’s first Tagalog single “Seryoso” recently had a music video shoot last January 8, 2013 to promote the song. The music video was co-directed, produced and conceptualized by RSLPhoenix and Ryan Supremo, a new  photography and video artist willing to help young Ilonggo talents like Daniel. It was shot in Plaza Libertad and Port San Pedro in Iloilo City that will soon have its youtube launching. Daniel is excited about his first music video for “Seryoso” that will hopefully coincide for its FM radio debut in Iloilo City. The song is about teenage romance and infatuation personally written and arranged by Daniel himself. Watch out for the music video very soon and his possible live TV performance later this week at GMA morning show “Arangkada.”
