Ilonggo acoustic artist Daniel Zedane was recently invited to become the additional male vocalist of  Zonetrack Band playing regularly every Friday evening at Tapi2ted Bar in Smallville complex in Iloilo City. The show band also composed of fellow Ilonggo artists under RSLPhoenix Music Cindy Bernardo and Edz Callao welcomed Daniel. The band perform popular songs and have already played in various events and venues throughout Iloilo. Daniel is a great addition as a new vocalist in the band since he performed well with cover songs previously.

Acoustic Heartthrob Daniel Zedane

There’s more to his boy-next-door appeal than meets the eye. For 18-year-old acoustic music artist, Daniel Zedane, singing is his way of expressing his love for life. In an early age, he discovered his love for music when his grandfather gave him a guitar for his birthday and started singing in various school programs. Slowly but passionately, he was drawn to the emotional and artistic world of music.

But when his grandfather died, Daniel felt alone, found comfort and relief in music. It became his escape from loneliness and instead, he persevered to develop his skills in playing the guitar. But passion for music inspired him to follow his heart and never stop improving his vocal ability. Last year, when he got his first taste of intense heartbreak, Daniel picked up his pencil and wrote a song about how he felt. The strong emotion and loneliness inspired him to finish his original Tagalog song entitled “Seryoso” (Serious) and recorded a video of his performance using his cellphone camera. It generated interest among his peers. Last Christmas, when he joined a group of young musicians doing Christmas carolling along the street, someone heard him singing and instantly told him he could be referred to a friend who’s interested in promoting local music artists. A week later, Daniel impressed a group of local independent music producers in RSLPhoenix Music who instantly believes in his potential. Immediately, Daniel recorded his original song “Seryoso” and a music video was produced and posted in youtube. The song is now exclusively playing regularly at Campus Radio 93.5. He promoted the song with a live performance at GMA Iloilo’s morning show “Arangkada” last month.  Daniel will soon record an Ilonggo song entitled “Ginadamgo” (Dreaming) and a possible duet with Ilongga pop diva, Sheila Barrios. Last month, he was picked to play the lead role in the short film “Ang Kanta,” an entry to the 2013 Ilonggo Short Film Competition as part of the Sineng Pambansa National Film Festival in Iloilo and screened at Cinemateque Iloilo. He also performed in various music gigs last Dinagyang Festival and had his first mall show at Gaisano City last February 3 with his band, Questune Prone. His regular acoustic show is every Monday and Wednesday from 6-9pm at Fiesta restaurant at Robinsons Place. 

Daniel is optimistic to face his future in the local music scene as the newest acoustic heartthrob. His natural charm, talent in playing the guitar, his ability to compose heartfelt songs and his unique rock-tinged voice makes him one of the most promising Ilonggo music artists to break out in the local recording scene. Rising Ilonggo acoustic artist Daniel Zedane Flaviano is back with an original Ilonggo single entitled "GINADAMGO" coming very soon (this is a studio demo version). The lyrics were written by Ronelo Sanchez Ladiao and Daniel Zedane Flaviano, melody arrangement and acoustic guitar instrumental by Daniel Zedane Flaviano with Questune Prone Band, produced by RSLPhoenix Music and recorded at M.I.C. Muzik Recording Studio. The song is the soundtrack of the Ilonggo short film entry "Ang KANTA" (The Song) as part of the Iloilo Sineng Pambansa Ilonggo Short Film Festival in January 2013.

Ilonggo Artist spiced up Panay News, My Phone Dinagyang Party

Armed with his sheer talent for music, 18-year-old Ilonggo acoustic artist Daniel Zedane spiced up the Dinagyang Festival event “My Phone My Party” in the evening of January 25 and 27, 2013. The musical event featuring Manila artists, bands and of course, Ilonggo talents, My Phone together with Panay News organized a spectacular Dinagyang Festival party that would treat the Ilonggo’s craving for amazing nights of fun, flair and music.

Daniel Zedane is one of the freshest Ilonggo musical talents that burst out in the local entertainment scene with his first Tagalog single “Seryoso” which he personally composed, recorded and now playing regularly at Campus Radio 93.5. The song is a regularly featured theme track in “Wanted Sweetheart,” an evening program of the radio station. He also had a special guest performance at GMA Iloilo’s top-rating morning show “Arangkada” last month to promote his single. Likewise, he was also picked to play the lead role in the 2013 Ilonggo Short Film Contest official entry entitled “Ang Kanta” (The Song) as part of the Iloilo Sineng Pambansa Film Festival event of the Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) last month.

Daniel is more than just a pretty face, his impressive talent to play all kinds of musical instruments, songwriting ability and rock-tinged unique singing voice makes him a natural entertainer and performer onstage. His passion for music started during his elementary years when his grandfather gave him a guitar and his school teacher discovered that he has a great singing voice. The next thing he knew, he was already a constant performer in different school programs and events. He also trained and exposed himself in the local band scene that led to the founding of their band, The Question Prone. His dream as an artist focuses on sharing inspiration to the younger generation of Ilonggo youth today. He believes that Ilonggo talents have what it takes to shine and succeed in promoting local music.

Ang KANTA (The Song) Screening on February 9

Ang KANTA (The Song) Ilonggo short film teaser 2. Produced by RSLPhoenix Films featuring Ilonggo acoustic artist, Daniel Zedane Flaviano with Erma Mae Dianon and Liezel Rose Demagajis. The short film is written and directed by Ronelo Sanchez Ladiao, Cinematography by Noel de Leon, Edited by Kuris Animation and Production Manager Lea Prodigo. It is one of the 25 entries to the 2nd Ilonggo Short Film Contest as part of the Iloilo International Film Festival by the Film Development Council of the Philippines last January 2013. The short film is scheduled for a free screening together with other 25 entries on February 9, Saturday with two screening schedules --1:30pm and 5:30pm at Cinemateque Iloilo.

First Photo Shoot

 

Rising Ilonggo acoustic pop-rock artist Daniel Zedane Flaviano who recently release his first single "Seryoso" accompanied with a music video recently had a photoshoot. The photoshoot was done last January 30, during the last shooting day for his "Seryoso" music video. Advertising student, short film actress and multi-media artist, Lea Prodigo directed the photoshoot at La Paz Plaza. The photos will be used as promotional materials for Daniel's upcoming gigs, projects and events in the future. Under the dynamic management team of Ilonggo independent artist group RSLPhoenix Music, Daniel has achieved a lot of significant things since his January 1 launching and release of his single in youtube. Daniel appeared in GMA TV-6 "Arangkada" morning show, took part in the Ilonggo artists mini-show during the Dinagyang Festival at Iloilo Provincial Capitol and My Phone My Party 2-night gig, recently had his first solo mall show at Gaisano City and starred in the Ilonggo Short Film Contest entry "Ang Kanta" as part of Iloilo International Film Festival. His song "Seryoso" is now playing exclusively on air at Campus Radio 93.5 and slowly gaining attention from radio listeners all over the region.

First Mall Show @ Gaisano City

 

Daniel Zedane Flaviano, the newest Ilonggo artist of RSLPhoenix Music is a certified hit in a short span of time after his January 1, 2013 launching in his youtube channel. He is a multi-talented acoustic artist who compose, perform and play different kinds of musical instruments aside from guitar. He was able to perform live at GMA-Iloilo's morning show "Arangkada" and his first Tagalog single "Seryoso" is now exclusively playing at Campus Radio 93.5. The music video of the song was recently launched in his youtube channel and he performed in various events last Dinagyang Festival 2013 including his biggest exposure for 2 nights at My Phone My Party on January 25 and 27. Onstage, Daniel is a natural performer and with his rock-tinged voice, he's got what it takes to be the next Ilonggo pop-rock heartthrob. On February 3, Saturday, 5pm, Daniel made another important first in his humble career when he performed with his dynamic band -The Questune Prone for his very first solo mall show at Gaisano City. Daniel performed some of his most favorite pop-rock anthems, the first full band version of his hit single "Seryoso" which sounded truly impressive from its acoustic version and debuted his first original English song "Blame On Me." His friends came over to watch his first live mall show that entertained the crowd with his impressive talent and charisma.
