Ilonggo acoustic artist, Daniel Zedane is one of the 34 music artists who took part in this significant tourism song project that elevates local music and artistry in promotion the local tourism of Region VI. Daniel represented the city of Passi and its beautiful scenery where his solo part was shot with Hampang Productions. 

"Lagaw 'Ta (Experience Western Visayas)" is the official tourism song of the Department of Tourism Region VI, co-produced and created with Hampang Productions, RSLPhoenix Music, 8finity Events, itraveler Philippines Magazine and Western Visayas College of Science and Technology-Computer Department. "Lagaw 'Ta" is the first ever region-wide tourism song performed by 34 music artists from different provinces of Western Visayas with an on-location music video shot in more than 30 tourism sites. The music video is directed by Ramjun Valasote of Hampang Productions. The song is written by Ronelo Sanchez Ladiao with musical arrangement by Marty Catequista, Lindy Suladay and Jaylord Zpinx Capalihan. It was officially launched at SM City Iloilo on October 25, 2013 as part of "Sights & Sound 2" event. Daniel Zedane & Questune Prone @ GMA Arangkada

  Daniel Zedane with his band, Questune Prone was featured in GMA morning show "Arangkada" last Sept.23, 2013. The band performed Daniel's second single, an Ilonggo song entitled "Ginadamgo" with a music video produced by Hampang Productions. They were featured in the show's segment entitled "Astig" which exposes different talents and unique skills of Ilonggos.

The First Tourism Song in Western Visayas set for Oct. 25 Launch 

The flourishing tourism industry has created a great impact in the development of Western Visayas as the center of tourist influx in the Philippines.  With internationally known tourism destinations such as the world-famous Boracay Island, cultural heritage sites in Iloilo, famous inland resorts in Negros Occidental, and nature-tripping places in Antique, the tourism industry in Western Visayas remains attractive to visitors and tourists. In an effort to passionately capture the significance of promoting the tourism industry, the Department of Tourism Region VI together with 8finity Events, RSLPhoenix Music, Western Visayas College of Science and Technology and SM City Iloilo, gathered the best and most talented music artists in the region to produce and record the original tourism song entitled “Lagaw ‘Ta (Experience Western Visayas).”  The tourism song combines English and Hiligaynon lyrics that convey a heartfelt message of inspiring visitors and locals to promote the tourism industry, re-discovering beautiful places, sights and sound that emphasize Western Visayas as the booming center of traveling and cultural destinations. Hampang Productions is set to produce and creatively direct the official music video of the tourism song, the first of its kind in the region. Together with the music artists coming from different provinces in Western Visayas, they will shoot in various tourism sites and destinations to complete the music video.

“Lagaw ‘Ta” is set to be launched on October 25, Friday, 2 p.m. at SM City Iloilo Events Centre as part of “SIGHTS & SOUND 2.” The event will also highlight the awarding of the top 3 winners of DOT 6’s Tourism Comics Contest, the official trailer launch of “Ang Bantay (The Keeper)” dubbed as the first animated movie produced in Iloilo City set for 2014 release and a travel-inspired fashion show that will introduce the newest travel magazine in the Philippines.  The event is also co-presented by Panay News, Skycable-Iloilo, Shana Lacs Spa and Tibiao Fish Spa. Daniel on his First Album and More

Known for his acoustic music and style, Ilonggo artist Daniel Zedane who already released two original singles: the Tagalog song "Seryoso" and Ilonggo track "Ginadamgo" with accompanying music videos in youtube. Since last summer, Daniel has been slowly writing, collecting and recording original songs for his possible first full-length independent album to be released by RSLPhoenix Music and 8finity Events. With the creative and dynamic talent of M.I.C. Muzik/Black Soul Productions, the 18-year-old Ilonggo artist is set to melt the hearts of young Ilonggo music lovers with his meaningful songs. Possibly, his next single release will be an original English song later this year. He is scheduled to take part in "Lagaw 'Ta (Experience Western Visayas)" - a tourism song co-produced by the Department of Tourism Region VI set for a mall event premier on October 26, Saturday at SM City Iloilo entitled "Sights & Sound 2." He is also involved in recording the official theme song of the first Ilonggo-produced animated movie entitled "Ang Bantay (The Keeper)" later this year. He is also scheduled to take part and perform at Karay-a Arts Festival in the province of Antique this October. Daniel is slowly collecting and preparing his original songs for recording that will comprise his first album. The album is a mixture of mostly acoustic songs, pop-rock, ballads, and rap/hip-hop tracks. New songs that his friends and local fans can watch out in his first album are "All I Know," a duet with another Ilongga artist, "Blame on Me," a song composed by his band Questune Prone, a remake of Ilongga Diva's song and theme song of the Sineng Pambansa indie film "Gugma sa Panahon sang Bakunawa" entitled "Nabatyagan," a rap song "Ngaa Bala" and so much more.

Recently, Daniel promoted his Ilonggo song "Ginadamgo" and sang some cover songs last August 13 at the search for Mr. & Ms. Bo. Obrero, Lapuz and at the Acquaintance party of the University of Iloilo last August 14. He is scheduled to have a second guest performance at GMA Iloilo's popular morning show "Arangkada" sometime next week.

The Biggest Tourism & Pop Culture Event is back very soon! Watch out for "Sights & Sound 2" there will be a tourism song launching for "Lagaw Ta (Experience Western Visayas)" where Daniel Zedane will be part of the all-star Ilonggo artists performance of the song and premier of the official music video, the animated movie trailer premiere of "Ang Bantay (The Keeper)" is also set to premier, a mini-travel fashion show featuring by 8finity models, the Department of Tourism Region VI tourism comics contest awarding of winners, and a teaser of the new travel publication in the region. There will be more music artists set to perform and surely more FUN for everyone. Daniel's "Nabatyagan" acoustic demo teaser

Daniel Zedane recently recorded a remake version of the Ilonggo song "Nabatyagan," a song performed by Ilongga pop songstress Sheila Barrios as one of the theme songs of the Sineng Pambansa 2012 movie "Gugma sa Panahon sang Bakunawa." The song posted is a demo teaser version of the song wherein Daniel put his acoustic style of music with guitar and beat box elements. Zpinx Angel mixed and edited the song with lyrics originally written by RSLPhoenix. Hopefully, the song will be included in his full album set for release later this year. Likewise, the song will be performed by Daniel in some school campus tour screening of the movie this 2013.

Daniel's Music Video set to be featured in Karay-a Arts Festival

Envisioned by Hampang Productions and RSLPhoenix Music with 8finity Events, co-sponsored by Stufyerface Bar and Restaurant and Perfect J online Shop, the new music video of Ilonggo acoustic heartthrob, Daniel Zedane for his second single "Ginadamgo" is culturally-significant and "epic" in its creative sense. The music video incorporates a sentimental love story of lovers during the World War II, got separated by tragedy and finally found each other in once again in a modern world through the concept of "reincarnation." Hampang Productions proved their versatility, creative visions and superb editing talent for the music video. They shot the scenes in 2 significant Iloilo City heritage house-- the Sinamay House in Villa and Jardiolin Madrid ancestral house. Aileen Grace Toreno, a rising Ilongga fashion model and actress was Daniel's love interest in the movie. The acoustic-flavored song was an original composition by Ronelo Sanchez Ladiao and Daniel. The song is now playing in selected FM stations in Iloilo and soon in Bacolod City.

With so much buzz and positive feedback, the music video is set to be featured in the 7th Karay-a Arts Festival in the province of Antique this October 2013. Along with the music video, his short film entitled "Ang Kanta," an entry to the 2nd Sineng Pambansa Ilonggo Short Film contest last January will be screened in the annual event. Karay-a Arts Festival organizers that features cultural dance groups, indie films, trade showcase, theater arts and music artists also invited Daniel to perform his songs during the event.
