Daniel Zedane, artist by heart!

Daniel Zedane is a real artist by heart. Since he was 15, he has involved himself in the local music band scene in Iloilo City. He considered this exposure as a training ground to improve his talent not only as a vocalist but as a musician who could actually play musical instruments like guitar, organ and drums. But his first love is playing the guitar. Now at 18, Daniel still has the same interest and love for music. Early in 2012, Daniel experienced the deepest heartache and emotional pain for a true love when he wrote his soulful original Tagalog song "Seryoso." The song is sad, a tearjerker and inspiring track that is easy to relate for teenagers going through a lot of emotional ups-and-downs. It is his lonely story of winning the heart of someone he cared about and putting a taste of teenage-angst in the song. It is sweet to listen to. When RSLPhoenix team met this talented acoustic artist in December of 2012, he was still searching for his place under the sun. Instantly, they believed in his innate potential for music, as an artist, vocalist and musician. Without second thought, they head on to the recording studio of M.I.C. Muzik to record the song in 2-3 hours. Then "Seryoso" was born. The song was posted in the artist's youtube channel and "likers" in facebook came in with only good impression for the song. Then, RSLPhoenix together with Ryan Supremo, a budding videographer worked together to produced and co-directed the official music video of the song. Shot in several landmarks of Iloilo City such as Fort San Pedro, Plaza Libertad and La Paz Plaza, the music video is a total promotion of Ilonggo talent and culture. Kuris Animation edited the music video and was later posted in youtube. Daniel has come a long way since his first song was released just 2 months ago. In fact, the song enjoyed a constant airplay at Campus Radio 93.5 that also helped made the song reachable to the Ilonggos. The future is promising for this young artist because they intended to bring the song in FM stations in Bacolod City and other parts of Western Visayas hoping it could inspire more music listeners. What's more, he enjoyed several media exposure both in newspaper articles, TV guestings and event gigs. Daniel have regular gigs as an solo acoustic artist in Fiesta Restaurant in Robinsons Iloilo twice a week, weekly with Zonetrack band in Smallville and also selected gigs with his newly-founded band, the Questune Prone. In the coming weeks, he is ready to release an Ilonggo song entitled "Ginadamgo" co-written with RSLPhoenix with his instrumental arrangement. Daniel Zedane is an artist by heart. He believes that being humble, optimistic and sincere will put his dreams to reality someday. He will always be an artist who will never change but will continue to inspire young people like him through his music.
