First Gig, First Radio Tour in Bacolod City

There's always a first time for Daniel Zedane, an Ilonggo acoustic artist who released his first original Tagalog single "Seryoso" last January and became a hit song at Campus Radio 93.5 in Iloilo City. After all the great things that happened right after his song first hit the internet and airwaves, he got his chance for the first live performance in Bacolod City after he was invited by Cambridge Academy,a private elementary school that recently had their closing exercises last March 16, 1pm at Sugarland Hotel Grand Ballroom Hall. Daniel's live performance of One Direction mash-up of hit songs "What Makes You Beautiful/One Thing" and OPM hit track "Pusong Bato" captivated the crowd, from the kids to their parents, they were dancing to his performance. His natural talent in entertaining the audience and his strong presence as an artist was felt in the venue while he perform with his acoustic guitar. Before the event ended, Daniel performed several other OPM tracks and sang his first single "Seryoso" and the newly-released original Ilonggo song "Ginadamgo." In the evening, Daniel enjoyed a night of disco-clubbing at MO2 Ice Bacolod with the Cambridge Academy staff. The following day, March 17, Daniel had his first Bacolod City radio FM visit to Campus Radio 107.1, Love Radio and MOR Bacolod. Surprisingly, Campus Radio DJs immediately approved for regular airplay and included his single "Seryoso" in their official playlist. They were impressed with his song after submitting a CD copy of his 2 songs. The song premiered on-air this week at Campus Radio 107.1 and hoping other FM stations would pick up his song. After his radio visit, Daniel had a meeting with 6100 Records artists rapper Poy and event organizer Patrick Bucabal for some possible future projects. He also meet up with Jen Sanchez, the Bacolod-based newest Ilongga pop artist under RSLPhoenix Music who will release her first single "Bakit" this week. Daniel enjoyed a 3-night stay at Sugarland Hotel and a three-day trip in Bacolod City courtesy of Cambridge Academy management. The future of this young artist to come back again in Bacolod City and explore more projects, is possible to happen since Cambridge Academy management told him they were interested to hire him to teach guitar lesson and voice training with their students during their summer class starting second week of April. Daniel is also set to record a possible collaboration song with Jen Sanchez and rapper Poy of 6100 Records.
